  • Instruction for Every Level

Based in Center, Texas, Jon Manack is a professional golfer and highly experienced golf instructor dedicated to helping golfers improve their performance through a deeper understanding of swing mechanics, biomechanics, and the individual needs of each player. At EasTex Golf Performance Studio , Jon provides indoor golf instruction utilizing the Trackman 4, The Plane Swing and many other proven devices and methods help golfers of all skill levels develop more consistent ball striking, improve accuracy and distance, build confidence, and enjoy the game at a higher level.

Jon began his professional playing and instructional career in 1992, following years of competitive golf and extensive study of the skills and mechanics required to play the game at a high level. His approach combines decades of competitive experience with a practical, analytical teaching philosophy that makes complex concepts easier to understand, learn, and apply on the course.

Throughout his career, Jon has worked with professional golfers, PGA and LPGA professionals, nationally ranked amateurs, competitive juniors, and recreational players. His instruction emphasizes identifying the underlying causes of a golfer’s challenges rather than simply correcting the visible symptoms. By understanding how the body moves, how the club functions, and how the mind influences performance, Jon develops individualized strategies that address each player’s needs, abilities, and goals.

What distinguishes Jon’s teaching is his background beyond traditional golf instruction.

Beginning in 1997, Jon pursued extensive education and training in sports medicine, rehabilitation, golf-specific physical conditioning, anatomy, kinesiology, and sports psychology. He also co-founded and co-owned LEAP Golf™, a golf-specific diagnostic and learning program implemented in physical therapy centers nationwide as an exclusive golf performance enhancement and rehabilitation program.

His experience working alongside orthopedic physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists has helped shape an approach that considers the relationship between physical function and golf swing mechanics. This background is particularly valuable for golfers managing previous injuries, returning to the game after rehabilitation, experiencing physical limitations, or struggling with recurring discomfort during play.

While every golfer is different, Jon believes effective instruction begins with understanding the individual—not forcing every player into the same swing model.

His goal is to make golf instruction understandable, practical, and measurable, giving each student the knowledge and tools to improve both during lessons and independently on the course.
